We are a small venture based in Corby, Northamptonshire trading as Kittiwake Business Aid, and providing accounting, bookkeeping, payroll and office support services.

            Our target clients are self employed, start-up businesses, small limited companies (such as a driving school, child minder, handyman, plumber, gardener, decorator, caterer, mobile mechanic etc).

            A visit to an accountant very often means parting with quite a lot of money but not with us!
We do understand how tight a budget can be for a small or start-up business, because we are there too. By keeping our overheads under control we keep our charges low.
            We operate a loyalty discount up to 30% to clients who stay with us over one year and we discount our prices to charities and non-profit organisations.

            We know a busy entrepreneur gets many invitations to spend money on things he does not need but we urge you to consider the benefit of peace of mind knowing that all your statutory obligations are being looked after.
            We value and respect each of our clients no matter their size. Our approach is very flexible and adaptive. You visit us or we visit you – its your choice. And depending on a client's preferences we can keep accounts using popular accounting software like Sage, or if a client does not wish to spend cash on software, "open source" packages like TurboCash etc.
            For small businesses with a limited number of transactions it makes sense to keep accounts in a spreadsheet. For this purpose we can construct a bespoke spreadsheet that allows double entry, automatic trial balance and error signalling.
            If a client prefers to operate his accounts manually we can set it up for either method. The choice is up to our customers and we always respect it.
